The Freeview consortium, which represents Australia's free to air commercial TV networks, is working with television makers to oversee the HbbTV rollout, with Nine and Ten confirming their HbbTV plans. HbbTV compatible TVs, set top boxes and personal video recorders are expected to go on sale in Australia next year.
