I like the idea of a logo more centralized around the idea of the beautiful mountains. I don't visit Port Alberni for logs and bears, laughs I visit it because I relate it to mountains, VAST wilderness. It really has a special energy that not just everyplace has. Mt. Arrowsmith for one, you can't tell me every town has a mountain like that towering over it, absolutely fantastic!It is interesting if one reflects on the brand with the information released recently on the forest industry in the Port Alberni area. Seems like a sunset industry at best and not likely a descriptor of what 21st century PA will look like . I have lived most of my life in Port Alberni and have yet to meet a "lumberjack". I thought that was someone with a Blue Ox and a big axe.
